What to Expect
Your assessment begins before you get on the table
I am paying attention before the session starts
When you call or text, what you tell me about your complaint provides a starting point. When you arrive, I observe how you stand, walk, move your arms, shift weight, turn your head, and position yourself around your natural center of balance.
Your body often tells me things you have not thought to mention.

Looking at the whole picture
I consider how movement patterns and compensations relate to your complaint, including whether the discomfort may originate somewhere other than where you feel it. These observations are clues, not a medical diagnosis.
Where it hurts is not necessarily where the problem started.
Then we talk
We discuss symptoms, injuries, surgeries, daily activities, goals, and what makes things better or worse. I want to know what you are trying to get back to doing.
On the table
My hands help assess tissue mobility, tenderness, guarding, and how areas respond to pressure and movement. I observe breathing and comfort, explain the approach, and adjust treatment with your consent. You can request changes at any time.
After the appointment
We discuss what I observed, your response, and useful next steps—perhaps a movement adjustment, breathing strategy, self-care, follow-up work, or medical evaluation when appropriate.
The goal is meaningful progress and helping you keep it.
